FAQ
Answers to common questions about ALYGN.
Is ALYGN free?
Yes. Face analysis, corrective exercises, and history tracking are all free.
Are my face photos stored on a server?
No. Photos are analyzed only on your device and never sent to a server. Only the resulting numbers (score, type) are saved.
Is the analysis a medical diagnosis?
No — it is a reference self-check. If you have pain, limited mouth opening, or rapid changes, consult a medical professional.
Why does my score vary slightly between measurements?
Lighting, expression, and head angle affect results. ALYGN reduces variance with multi-frame capture, 3D pose correction, and expression detection — measuring weekly under identical conditions is most reliable.
How is the symmetry score calculated?
From 478 facial landmarks we measure 10 metrics across eyes, mouth, jaw, nose, and width, then apply per-area weights to produce a 0–100 score. Higher means more balanced.
Can exercises improve facial asymmetry?
Functional asymmetry from muscle habits can improve with habit correction and exercise. Structural (bone-based) asymmetry cannot be changed by exercise alone and may need medical treatment.
What kind of photo is most accurate?
Face the camera directly, in even frontal lighting, with a relaxed neutral expression, and keep hair off your forehead and jawline.
Where is my analysis history stored?
When logged in, history is saved to your account (server) and follows you across devices. Without login it stays only in your current browser.
Can I delete my records or account?
You can delete individual records on My Page, and delete your entire account from the bottom of My Page. Account deletion removes your account and all server-stored history.
Can I install it as an app?
Yes. On Android/desktop Chrome use the install banner or the browser menu; on iPhone use Safari’s Share → “Add to Home Screen”.
